about us

Lucy Davis, the owner of Massage for Mommy and Me LLC, is a licensed massage therapist, reflexologist, and infant massage instructor who has been practicing since 2006. Before embarking on her massage career, where she graduated at the top of her class, Lucy earned Bachelor of Science degrees in Secondary Science Education and Environmental Studies, focusing on Sustainable Living.

Lucy’s practice includes massage therapy, reflexology, and teaching infant massage to parents and caregivers. She has consistently updated her knowledge with the latest research and techniques in massage. At the beginning of her career, she had the unique opportunity to work with a retiring massage therapist and reflexologist, acquiring techniques passed down from his mother, a practitioner in Europe. Enthralled by these techniques, Lucy combined them with her formal education. She saw the advantages for all age groups, from infants to seniors, and was motivated to establish a place where people could enjoy various massages, including therapeutic deep tissue and relaxation, and where parents and caregivers could introduce their children to the healing aspects of massage, addressing common health issues.

In 2019, Lucy turned her attention to infant massage, inspired by its health benefits and its role in enhancing the bond between parent/caregiver and child, as well as fostering positive communication. Infant massage is a gift that lasts a lifetime, and Lucy is dedicated to instructing expectant parents, as well as parents and caregivers of newborns and infants. Her exceptional communication skills have always put her clients at ease, maximizing the benefits of their massage experiences. She applies these skills to her infant massage classes, guiding parents and caregivers in using massage to care for their babies, promoting tranquility and connection.

Lucy, a mother to three sons, has embraced massage as a part of her life ever since her own mother would soothe her to sleep with a gentle foot rub. The pinnacle of her happiness is when one of her boys approaches her, seeking a massage or reflexology to alleviate their ailments. It not only comforts them but also affirms for Lucy that she is on the correct path, imparting this wisdom and nurturing the health and well-being of the parent-child connection.
